How do I receive the sessions?

The sessions will be sent out daily, to the email you provided when registering. Please make sure you check your junk mail and save us as a contact to avoid them being delivered to your junk mail. Emails will be delivered from worldwellnesscircle@batyr.com.au.

What if I can’t do the session at 0730 in my local time zone?

If you can’t make it at 0730 in the morning, don’t worry you will still have access to the sessions through your email and can complete at any time. The idea of encouraging people to participate at 0730 in their local time zone is to create solidarity and unite everyone, it creates a virtual ripple of wellness, where people will be taking part 24 hours a day across the world. It also helps encourage people to stick to a routine during these challenging times. But please complete at a time that suits your schedule.

I’m currently supporting my local gym as they work to offer online solutions to members, can I still take part?

Yes, this is an inclusive campaign, creating a strong, global community of support and encouragement, to help us all look after our health and wellness. The World Wellness Circle is designed to compliment any other exercise program you may be doing, use the hashtag #worldwellness circle on your posts to help and drive the movement and motivate others to continue to look after their physical and mental health.

What if I can’t pay for the sessions?

We know that some have been hit hard financially due to COVID-19, or are currently facing fears of this. This campaign is all about bringing people together and supporting everyone. So, we ask you to donate what you can to register, even if you are unable to donate, you can still access the sessions. Simply select the ‘Unable to Donate’ option on the home page, you will then be able to sign up and receive the daily sessions.

What does ‘donate what you can?’ mean?

We offer registration for the World Wellness sessions with the option of selecting how much you want to donate to support batyr and the work they are doing to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people. No matter how much you donate, you'll be getting the same sessions as everyone else.

Where does the money raised go?

100% of the proceeds of your registration will go towards batyr, the preventative youth mental health charity. batyr run programs that smash the stigma of mental health and encourage young people to reach out for support when needed. They are currently working hard to bring young people a digital solution to support them now and in the future.

How do I know that this is legitimate?

batyr are a registered charity with DGR status, to find out more go to www.acnc.gov.au

What if I have an injury?

We encourage you to listen to your body and don’t do anything that doesn’t feel right. Please note that by joining these online sessions you do so at your own risk and the World Wellness Circle and batyr are not responsible for any injury while accessing this service. You are solely responsible for evaluating and assessing your health and well-being and consulting with a physician prior where appropriate. Are there fees deducted from my registration?

100% of all proceeds from registration and donations will be going direct to batyr, the preventative youth mental health organisation. Donations are made through the platform mycause who have generously waived their platform fees for campaigns for charities to help ensure they can continue their important work during these challenging times. Credit Card charges still apply.

Is this tax deductible?

Yes, suggested text: Donations of $2 or more to a non-profit organisation like batyr, that has Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) are tax deductible, depending on your own personal tax position. For rules and guidelines about tax deductible donations, visit the ATO website.

What does the World Wellness Circle mean?

As we experience these unprecedented and challenging times, it's more important than ever that we come together and ensure we stay connected and well. The World Wellness Circle is there to strengthen your mind, body and spirit daily. By participating at 0730 daily in your local time zone, you'll be part of a 24 hour ripple of wellness across the globe. It’s about coming together to not only look after ourselves during these times, but to create a network and community that supports the mental health of the youth of the world.

Is it too late to sign up?

It is never too late! You can sign up any time of day or night that you have an Internet connection. Every World Wellness session counts towards creating a stronger community.

Can I get the emails in another language?

English is currently the only option. You can look into caption translators if you would like a different language.

How do I organise a session and get it listed on your website?

I am not from Australia, can I still participate?

Yes! As these are virtual wellness sessions, there are no geographical boundaries to participation. We encourage everyone from around the world to join us in mind, body and spirit activities, as well as to raise funds for youth mental health.

I can’t watch the videos or hear the sound.

Streaming our videos requires that you have a high speed Internet connection. If the video is starting and stopping, then the issue may be a slow Internet connection. Also try accessing the video with a different web browser - Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari or Chrome. Please try removing your cookies and reboot your computer to see if that helps. Your system may be loading an old version of the page. Please check the volume and audio capabilities of your computer.

How do I stop my email subscriptions?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of the emails you’ve received from the World Wellness Circle to unsubscribe. Once you have unsubscribed you will no longer receive the daily wellness sessions and will need to register again to recommence the emails containing your daily sessions.

I don’t want my email to go to other companies.

The World Wellness Circle does not share the emails or any other personal information of its subscribers with any other company or entity not directly affiliated with The World Wellness Circle. However, your email information may be shared with the batyr, the receiving charity, so they can let you know about other things they might be working on. Please read the privacy policy for more information.
